Once upon a time, in a world where there were no humans, only animals and machines, there was a steampunk crab named Gear. Gear was unlike any other crab in its community, as it had been partially mechanized with metal parts that made it stronger and faster. Gear had always been fascinated by the intricate machinery and gears that powered the world around him, and had a knack for tinkering and repairing machines. He often spent his days exploring the underwater world, looking for broken machines to bring back to life. One day, during one of his expeditions, Gear came across a long-abandoned submarine. The sub was in terrible shape, with broken pipes and rusted gears, but Gears saw potential in it. He spent days working tirelessly, repairing the submarine piece by piece. Finally the day came when the submarine was ready to sail. Gear climbed aboard, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation. As he sailed the sub deep into the ocean, he encountered all manner of creatures, from schools of glittering fish to giant squid with tentacles that could shatter steel.
