This is a multipurpose, non-hazardous, asbestos-free papier-mâché made with virgin paper pulp. This paper mache has a very fine texture, white, it is light, resistant and very versatile. Accepts paints (acrylics, watercolor oils) and most decorating products. Uses include: classroom projects, design and art prototypes, casting, molds and objects for reproduction, model building, theatrical objects, railway sets, substructures, piñatas and more. Fun to use on all conventional and manual layup applications!
Weigh the dry papier-mâché powder, if needed, into a bowl / bucket.
Mix the powder with water to the desired consistency.
You can add food coloring if desired.
* Suggested mixing ratios:
3: 1 to form a batter by melting and molds
4: 1 Application of manual lay-ups
The setting and processing time is about 30-45 minutes depending on the mixed consistency.
It solidifies completely after 1- 4 days depending on the size and thickness of the project. Allow the product to dry slowly and evenly at room temperature away from heat until hardened.
*Keep out of reach of children. Safe for adults when used as directed. Wear goggles and dust mask when sanding vulcanized papier mache. Maintain the product closed and dry.
